Guide Dogs or Companion Animals
Allowed on planes if necessary for traveler. All must be kept confined unless they are needed to help navigate the airport.
An Animal Relief Area is located outside the west end of the arrivals area.

Oxygen
Many airlines will provide once passenger is on plane, but check with airline. Pre-flight arrangements required by all airlines.
Parking
Reserved spaces in front of terminal on Arrivals level to facilitate pick-up; Reserved spaces in all lots.
Free Handicapped Parking in the Short-Term Lot
Individuals who possess a valid handicapped parking permit and park for less than one-hour will be granted free parking in the airport’s Short-Term lot starting April 1, 2010.
After the first hour patrons will be charged the current hourly rate. Free parking for the disabled in the Short-Term lot will facilitate easier access to and from the terminal for persons with disabilities.
Anyone wishing to take advantage of the free parking in the Short-Term lot will be required to present a time-stamped parking ticket along with a valid handicap parking permit or a handicap license plate upon exiting the ramp.
Passenger Escorts
Most airlines will provide for a fee: primarily for elderly or children.
Rest Rooms
Companion Care rest rooms provided throughout terminal: large enough to accommodate wheelchairs or several people. Each bathroom has one stall large enough to accommodate wheelchairs.
Security Check-In
Separate lane provided to accommodate families with small children and travelers who need extra assistance.
Telephones
TTY/TDD phones available throughout terminal at each phone bank.
Wheelchairs
If wheelchair assistance is going to be required while at the Buffalo airport you should make advance arrangements with your carrier. Or while at the airport if a wheelchair is needed please call 633-3726. All BNIA parking shuttles are equipped with a wheelchair lift.
